THIS WEEKENDS NOVICE TRAINING AND SUNDAY FUN RACE - CANCELLED!

posted Apr 17, 2015, 7:36 AM by President RMQMA

Ladies and Gentleman,

Mother Nature is not going to allow us to participate in this weekends racing events.  Novice Training and Fun Race are CANCELLED!

We will resume next weekend with our regularly scheduled Novice Training on Saturday and our OPENING RACE DAY on Sunday.

We have not seen a lot of cars through the Tech process.  All cars MUST be SAFETY TECH'D prior to racing.  You can bring your cars out next Saturday to be Tech'd prior to Sunday.  Sunday will be very busy!

I would also like to ask everyone to be considerate of the muddy conditions at the track throughout the year.  If you go out to practice please do not track mud from carts or trucks and trailers on to the concrete areas.

If you have any questions regarding Opening Day feel free to contact me or any of the board members.

Thank you and see you next weekend!

RMQMA Would like to send condolences out to the Ellinger Family!

posted Apr 15, 2015, 4:46 PM by President RMQMA

We wanted to let everyone know in the RMQMA family that one of our own Jim Ellinger has ended his courageous battle with Leukemia on April 12th.

The Ellinger family is appreciative to all your support.

Jim was a long time member of RMQMA and supported his sons Mike and Jason who raced in the 80's and his grandson's Ryan and Jacob who raced in recent years at RMQMA. Jim retired last year and was able to spend most of his summer following Ryan race and keeping the tires cleaned between every session on the track.

Jim was always there to provide a helping hand with work days and constantly sweeping the hot chute and track picking up all of our lost nuts, bolts and rivets.

We'll miss you Jim!

God speed!

I have included a link to information regarding the service.
