Well boys and girls the Labor Day "Piston Cup" weekend has past.
It was a Great event with Awesome weather, Competitive racing, Beautiful trophies and a lot of smiles.
We want to Thank all of you that shared the weekend with us. There was a lot of hard racing and competitive spirit. We had several families from out of State that had great success and left for their trip home with some of the Awesome trophies.
The "Piston Cup" at the Budweiser Event center marks the TWO year hiatus of the RMQMA Off-site race. We have been looking high and low for the past two years for great Off-site race locations and we think with all the positive response we have a winner.
We have already started planning for next year!
None of this would have been possible without the hard work of the RMQMA members & families and our sponsors for this event specifically:
Check out our Facebook page for all the Awesome photos taken by one our members Robert A. Patterson
Event Flagman - Reuben Barela made his way up from Pueblo Colorado to assist and swing flags all weekend.
Not only was it a racing event, it was a marketing event for Quarter Midget Racing!
If you stopped by and have questions on how you can get your children into quarter midget racing send us an email at: email@example.com

I wanted to pass along some information for that weekend as some of the things might get booked up prior to the racing weekend. We, the board are still working out some details, so I will have preregistration up next week after we together to discuss a few more things.
I have Resereved/Blocked Off Rooms at the Embassy Suites that are located on site and within walking distance from track for Any Racing Family coming in for this race. The rooms have 2 Queen size beds and they reduced the rate to $189 for the night of Sept 3rd-4th. Right now I have 15 rooms blocked off (14 left). I am working on adding more rooms and getting a lower rate and possibly adding the night of Sept 2nd if anyone needs it. If you are interested in a room Please let me know NO LATER than August 10th, 2016. That's my cut off date for cancelling or reserving any of the rooms. The address for the Embassy Suites is 4705 Clydesdale Pkwy, Loveland, CO 80538. Please do not call them to make the reservations as its under my name right now, when I call to confirm I will change the names.
I also wanted to let you know that I recieved an email from my contact at the Budweiser Center today.
Also, just a reminder all campers must camp in the designated RV Camping sites. No overnight camping allowed in the parking lots. As our race is in one of their parking lots.
Unfornatuley, this applies to ALL Campers, even the Toy Haulers. I've tried to get them to budge and they won't do it on the camping or the price.
They have a team roping event camping there that weekend as well, so the sooner you make your request the better chance of you getting a site.
20/AMP sites = $20/night
30-50/AMP sites = $30/night (limited availability)
Please have all campers fill out the online camping reservation request form on our website here.
Please feel free to call or email me with any questions you might have.
